20 Years of Music

The root of the Festival Pietrasanta in Concerto was a love at first sight with the city, a few years before the Festival actually began.
Over the last 20 years it grew into a very real relationship between the various officials, authorities, and most of all with the inhabitants of Pietrasanta. I'm very grateful to all of you.
I experience immense joy every time a guest artist shares my enthusiasm, making it possible to build a musical family over the years, a family in constant expansion!
This year the return of Martha Argerich, who helped me put the Festival on the apex, as well as Maxim Vengerov's presence for the 3rd time are invaluable signs of friendship.
Denis Kozhukhin, Andrea Griminelli and Pierre Genisson's repeated visits are always a highlight of any edition, as is my wife Jing Zhao's precious artistic contributions.
Too many to mention here, but I'm grateful to all the artists, this year and in the past 20 years, grateful to our small but top efficient team, and grateful for each and every listener who came to experience live music during Pietrasanta in Concerto.

Happy Birthdays to us all!

Join the festival

You have a choice of buying your tickets(s) either online or from one of the points of sale in Pietrasanta. You may prefer the online option if you are planning your evening(s) ahead of time or if you are simply not based in Pietrasanta.

And of course it’d guarantee your attendance as the cloister has a limited number of seats, in particular during these challenging times.
